Thinking about joining the New Prospect Baptist Church family?
Becoming a member is a meaningful spiritual commitment to growing and serving alongside our community. If you trust in Jesus Christ and share our passion for making new disciples, we’d love to have you join us!
Start your journey with our Membership Class, led by Senior Pastor Rob Reece. It covers our core beliefs, vision, and mission. A six-week membership class is offered three times per year. Classes are held on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour.
Once you've finished the course, you'll meet with a pastor for a membership interview. This is a chance for us to get to know you better and hear the story of how God has worked in your life. We look for a heart that aligns with Scripture and a life that reflects a genuine faith.
To become a member, you must be a believer in Jesus Christ who has been baptized by immersion following your conversion. Additionally, members must affirm our Statement of Faith, uphold the Church Covenant, and agree to follow our Constitution and By-Laws.
As the final step, the pastor will recommend you for membership, and you’ll be officially welcomed after a majority vote by the congregation during a member meeting.
