Rev. Mark Smith,  Transitional Pastor 
Mark is a graduate of North Greenville University,  Charleston Southern University ad received his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC . He is married to Freida Garner Smith. They have two children and four grandchildren. Mark served as Senior Pastor for 43 years before retiring in 2022.  He has had the opportunity  of preaching in Dubai, during Desert Storm, Venezuela, Brazil, Taiwan, China, and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Kyle Owings , Worship Director

Kyle has been in the ministry for nearly 20 years. He loves music and serving in the church. Kyle spent 9 years at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church as the Minister of Music and another 9 years at Philadelphia Baptist Church as Pastor of Worship and Operations. Kyle loves playing golf and spending time with his wife Ashley and two children, Hampton and Anniston. Kyle holds a B.S. in Business from Anderson University, a Master's in Education from Converse University, a Master's in Counseling from The University of West Alabama, and a Doctorate of Pastoral Counseling from The Atlantic Coast Seminary.
Dan Caston, Worship Assistant
Dan has been in ministry for over 50 years. His passion is music and teaching others the beauty of music and worship. Dan has served at Canaan Baptist Church and Philadelphia Baptist Church. Dan is excited to help lead at New Prospect and following the Lord's will.
Jessica Kiser, Children's Coordinator  
Jessica was born in Florida and raised in Lyman, SC. After completing her Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate, she worked in healthcare administration for many years.
In 2015, the Lord called her to serve in ministry. After leading in both women’s and children's ministries for several years, Jessica began serving at New Prospect Baptist Church as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator in June 2022. She is married to Nick and together they have three children, Solomon, Sadie, and Samuel. She enjoys spending time with her family, fellowship, and being outdoors.
Vicki White,  Administrative Asst. 
Vicki  began serving at New Prospect as administrative assistant in February 2001. Her responsibilities involve working with financial, administrative, and secretarial needs. Vicki is married to Joe, and they have a  son, Logan. 
Sommer Trebilico, Pianist
Sommer Bridges Trebilco grew up in Cooley Springs, where her family had a peach farm. She attended Bob Jones University for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She is married to Jonathan Trebilco, director of Programs and Communication at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Tryon, NC. They have an eight year old daughter, Gabrielle, and reside in the Motlow Community .

Linda Wilson, Organist, Emeritus (Retired 2024)

Linda was born in New Prospect, S.C. graduated from Chapman High School. She started playing the organ in 1954. She is married to Lance and has one daughter, Sheri Mathis.  Linda loves spending time with family.
